POLAND AND HOMOSEXUALITY ?

Human kind is an ambitious spicies, we aim to land on Mars and look for new exo planets, however, we fail to recognize that finding new life forms or landforms won't help us unless we learn to recognize each other's happiness and rights. From years, our conservative ideas have restrained people and tortured them. However, we are currently living in a society full of social change and acceptance, not to forget the fact that education has driven people towards a new path of justice and equality. Why do we still restrain ourselves with ancient abstraction? Recently, the news of Poland's unjust scheme disheartened not only me, but millions more. President Andrzej Duda, who sworn in for the second term on Thursday was re-elected on account for his strong anti-LGBTQ ideas. Poland is considered as the most homophobic country in the UE. 80% of it's citizens are against same sex adoption. Government, rather than enlightening the citizens with the correct information and knowledge have chosen to act against it. It is no surprise why a homophobe was elected. He defined LGBTQ as a dangerous, alien 'ideology'. But is sexual preference an ideology? Let's look at its basic definition. It is defined as a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.

Who we are attracted to doesn't depend on ideas or economy. It certainly isn't a political event. Social tension is sure to rise. I must question why the government is more concerned about homosexuality rather than covid-19. To generate an issue during these hard times, when many people have lost their jobs or are infected by a virus is surely not a move that the representatives of an educated country should make. And certainty, the representatives should not be conservative. It is true and well said that Andrzej Duda is not fit to be the president of Poland. He was once a lawyer, that means, he is educated. Is this what we, as the most intelligent species to exist on earth has to offer?

How can the government arrest protestors? About 50 are detained and 10 are still missing. Many more still protest with masks on the streets.

Poland is a conservative Christian land, majority of whose citizen are against homosexuality. To end my words, I would like to say that, if every homosexual person to ever exist on earth has sinned. And jesus died for our sins, then jesus died for the homosexuals.
